Open access policy, copyright and licenses
All papers published in the Revista Española de Podología are published in Open Access with free and permanent access in its website, immediately after their publication, without the need of signing up or paying charges by subscription. Papers published in the journal are under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License (CC BY -
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
). This license CC BY was developed to facilitate open access in line with the definition of Open Access of the Budapest Open Access Initiative or de Berlin declaration (
https://openaccess.mpg.de/Berliner-Erklaerung
). Content in open access has to be freely accesible online and with the application of CC BY license, authors allow users the rights of dissemination and reuse of their work without restrictions, with the only requirements that proper attribution is given to the authors, a link to the Creative Commons license is given and to indicate if changes has been made to the original work or paper. This license is best suited for transmission and dissemination of scientific knowledge In this sense, several scientific associations and foundations recommend and support the use of the license CC BY in the editorial practices of Open Access Journals
